Pollination and Propagation started when a friend brought over a beautiful Dahlia bouquet picked from her garden. I started painting it the next day and then walked out to my garden to see what other flowers I could paint. Dahlia’s are edible. They taste a bit like Jerusalem Artichokes. I liked that I could munch while I was painting and decided that for this series, a bar was set, and all the flowers needed to be downright tasty.
